Course Description

Urgency is about speed, timeliness, and the intent to get things done. When we think about urgency we often think about the general level of motivation or energy in an office. Reputations are made and broken on the level of urgency people feel when they enter an office or engage a team. Yet because the term "urgency" is essentially abstract, it can be challenging to crate the level of focus and engagement that we want in our team unless we use coaching strategies to create it. And there is a real risk in not creating that sense of urgency in our team: they (and we) can be perceived as lackluster, sluggish, and lacking motivation. That presents a real risk for both the employees and the manager.

But what if you could harness your team's urgency to transform their productivity and their culture? Imagine how that could change your reputation and theirs? What if urgency was the norm on your team? Imagine creating a team known for their energy and urgency. What if the habits and actions of your team formed a model that others could see and adopt?

This will teach you how to facilitate a one-on-one conversation about improving employees' sense of urgency. In addition, this course will teach you how to use supplemental coaching methods to accelerate the development employees' sense of urgency. This course is roughly 2 hours in length and provides instruction which facilitates one-on-one conversation, provides you supplemental coaching methods, and provides multiple, varied downloads that can guide you in your pursuit of coaching employees to build a sense of urgency.

The benefits of coaching employees to develop a sense of urgency include:

  1. Transform the culture of your team to create an energetic, urgent environment.
  2. Create and develop a sense of urgency in employees.
  3. Become a leader associated with grooming an urgent, focused team.
  4. Identify behaviors associated with urgency and turn them into habits.
  5. Build a sense of timeliness in employees.

And so much more!
